Some of these poems were written deep in the belly of a night shift, some were written years after I left that world. The casino is a strange place. Extreme highs, extreme lows, lots of free cups of tea, and some of the most marvellous characters you’ll ever meet.

This work informed my first solo show Casino Zero.
