Duck on Bike is a search for peace and laughter against a backdrop of low wages and family heartache. Farmed from the past ten years of living and writing, these are the collected works of former LeftLion Magazine Editor and GOBS Collective Co-Founder Bridie Squires.

The poems are a mix of memoir, song and fiction, inclusive of freewrites that never made it, surreal memories, and just utter bollocks. Many of the poems in Duck on Bike have been performed in pubs, libraries and theatres across the Midlands – now, they find a long-awaited home in print.
